Report a reaction

Product safety

If this serum caused a reaction,
please tell us.

We would genuinely rather know. It is the only way we find out something is wrong.

First, stop using it.

Rinse the area with water. If the reaction is severe, or if you have any difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or mouth, or a widespread rash, contact a doctor or emergency services straight away. Do not wait to hear back from us.

We are a skincare company, not a medical service. We cannot give medical advice, and nothing on this page is medical advice.

Then write to us support@zuvieskin.com

What helps us most

Send whatever you have. Nothing here is required, and a short message is better than none.

  • What happened, and to which part of your skin
  • When it started, and how long after you applied the serum
  • The production code. It is stamped into the blank box next to the small open-jar symbol — on the back of the bottle and on the side of the carton. If you cannot find it or it is unreadable, say so and send the rest.
  • Whether you used anything else on your skin at the same time
  • A photograph, if you are comfortable sending one

A real person reads every one of these. You will get an answer.

What we do with it

We keep a record of every report, wherever you are.

For the United States: if a report describes a serious reaction, we are required to notify the US Food and Drug Administration within 15 business days, and we will.

The United Kingdom is a different system with a different regulator, and the duty there sits with our UK Responsible Person. We pass serious UK reports to them.

If several reports point at the same thing, that is a signal about the product, not about the people who wrote in — and we would act on it.

We do not publish reports, and we do not share your details with anyone beyond what a regulator requires.

You can also report it directly

You do not need us in order to report a cosmetic reaction.

In the United States you can report it to the FDA yourself through MedWatch, whether or not you tell us first.

If you are in the United Kingdom, the FDA is not your regulator and we are not going to point you at the wrong door. Write to us and we will tell you exactly who to take it to, and we will not stand between you and them.
